Good News/Bad News...

Bad news first.

I'm going to have to cut off quite of bit of Rigsbys mane, due to a paddock-mate using it as a serious chew toy. It's seriously so bad I can't even bring myself to take pictures, much less post any. I guess he'll be sporting the french braid/mane cover for the summer. Joy joy.

Now for the good news! My pony is grooooowing! His size 66 blanket, which I purchased in November and was almost dangerously too big for him, is now history.  His sporty new purple rain sheet, SIZE 70, is on it's way!!! We're officially in horsie size!!! I haven't sticked him, but I estimate his height to be over 14.2. I have a horse!!

  1. You can always pull that mane and look like all the other eventers! You know... The ones that aren't showing Arabians, like we are? You only need the "natural mane and tail" if you're showing at the Arabian shows... And then, only if you want to do other than hunter/jumper classes...
I'm seriously considering a pulled mane for Psycho Mare, since hers is so thin and whispy anyway. I could never pull the Old Man's mane, though... It is way too thick and lucious. It will always go in a french braid!

  2. FYI - I have nominated you for the Liebster Blog Award! Thank you for the inspiration you provide! I’m sure you have already been nominated before I got to it, but I just wanted to add my voice (and play along).
